The Foundation was started in July of 2008. The Foundation relies heavily on private donations to fund the grants awarded to recipients. Most of the funds have been donated by private individuals with small donations. Some funds are in the form of grants and some funds are in the form of donated securities.
Since the inception of the Foundation more than 155 deserving families have received grants ranging from $250.00 to $1,500.00. Please visit our “Appreciations” page to see the many wonderful Thank You notes we have received from grant recipients. Over 80% of all funds received by the Foundation are distributed as grants to families in need.
